hello all, this time i used the a106 to process a dull drumloop ;-) the drumloop was first sent through an a119 and from there into the a106, followed by an a132 for output level control. first you hear the drumloop with the most neutral settings possible (no resonance, no distortion, maximum cutoff for lowpass, resp. minimum cutoff for highpass, unattenuated output). then you will hear the same drumloop seven times with different settings for input level, cutoff, resonance and output level (a132). no modulation was used, only fixed settings. each file is around 1 megabyte in size. in the first example only the lowpass input was used. both clipping controls were set to 0. http://www.selfoscillate.de/a100files/a106-loop-lp.mp3 the second example features the highpass input only. positive clipping was set to 10, negative clipping to 8. http://www.selfoscillate.de/a100files/a106-loop-hp-clip.mp3 imagine the sound when you start to modulate these parameters. it can be heaven or hell, and of course both can be fun ;-) best wishes ingo
